Year 12 Work Experience Week

We facilitate a dedicated Work Experience Week for Year 12 students, providing invaluable insights into potential career paths and hands-on work experience in various fields.  

 

Presentations from Elevate Education

Elevate Education offers workshops and presentations to enhance study skills, time management, and effective exam preparation, helping students excel academically.  

 

Engagements with Various Universities

We organize visits, workshops, and events to connect students with universities, allowing them to explore their higher education options and make informed decisions about their future.

 

Music and Musical Productions

Our vibrant music department offers opportunities for students to explore their musical talents and actively participate in school musical productions, fostering creativity and teamwork.

 

Sporting Activities

Our daily afterschool clubs provide students with opportunities to engage in a variety of sports and physical activities, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.

 

Film Club

Film enthusiasts can join the Film Club, where they can discuss and appreciate cinema, watch movies, and explore the art of storytelling through film.

 

Debating Society

Student Voice and Kent Youth Council

We highly value student perspectives and actively involve them in decision-making processes through our Student Voice initiatives. Our students also have the opportunity to participate in the Kent Youth Council, where they can make a positive impact on their community.

 

Ursuline Links

Ursuline Links is a unique program that encourages students to engage in meaningful community service and volunteer work, fostering a sense of social responsibility and empathy.

 

National Citizen Service (NCS)

We offer our students the chance to participate in the National Citizen Service, a program that promotes personal development, leadership skills, and social engagement through a series of challenging and rewarding activities.

 

Social Mobility Foundation’s Internship Program

Our students have the opportunity to apply for internships offered by the Social Mobility Foundation, giving them valuable work experience and insights into various career fields.

 

In addition to these activities, Ursuline College Sixth Form supports a wide range of other extracurricular initiatives, including art and drama clubs, community service projects, language clubs, and science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) programs. These opportunities ensure that our Sixth Form students receive a well-rounded education, develop essential life skills, explore their interests, and contribute to the school and local community.
