TSC Football Scholarship at Ursuline College

The TSC Sixth form Football Scholarship is for 16-19 year olds boys and girls who want to take the step into a full time football training programme alongside their academic studies. The aim of the scholarship programme is to provide high quality opportunities for participants to perform at their highest level in both academic and football endeavours. The TSC programme also provides a wide variety of exit routes in playing and coaching. The scholarship programme is open to both boys and girls.

TSC will provide a highly structured and professional coaching programme developed for talented and passionate players who want to develop as an individual and as part of a team. Each Scholarship team will train twice a week and play a match at least once a week competing in the KSFA league and Cup competitions, ESFA Cup Competitions as well as the opportunity to compete in additional tournaments.

Our exit routes from our Scholarship programmes have included players going on to University, USA Scholarships, coaching apprenticeships with us as well as other routes. We currently have 3 players who have gained a coaching apprenticeship, two of them have now moved into full time employment with TSC.We have also had 3 players who have gained USA Scholarships as well as a number of students who have progressed onto University courses.

As well as this we have a large amount of first team appearances at Semi professional level from our former players who have progressed in the senior game. These include Jack Penny (Ramsgate & Deal Town FC), Billy Munday (Ramsgate and Deal Town), Owen Kallmeier (Margate FC) and Ryan Lewis (Sheppey United). A lot of our players are also currently representing clubs at under 23's level.
