Careers eucation is an important aspect of a students learning experience as it prepares them to make decisions about their education and their future professional life in the world of work. Careers education and Guidance at Ursuline College is delivered through PSHE lessons, tutor time, assembly and additional activities with local colleges, universities and employers. The careers programme in the school supports the curriculum for Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.

Find out about apprenticeships. There are more than 250 occupations that offer apprenticeships. There are 3 levels; Intermediate, Advanced and Higher. Higher apprenticeships can provide an alternative route to gaining a degree level qualification. Apprenticeships are now available in new sectors such as Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Accountancy, Legal Executives and Engineering.
