Charcoal grey trousers, white shirt, school tie*, grey or black socks, navy blazer with school badge*, navy V-necked jumper with school badge*, plain black coat with dark lining, black polishable formal school shoes (no trainers, Vans etc), appropriate school bag.

Knee length Gordon tartan kilt, white school blouse, school tie*, navy V-necked jumper with school badge*, navy blazer with school badge*, plain black coat with dark lining, plain black tights or short plain black socks, black flat polishable formal school shoes (no trainers, Vans etc), appropriate school bag.

PE Uniform Outdoor wear

Black jogging bottoms*, black hooded sweatshirt with school crest*, black and green trim rugby shirt*, black shorts*, long black socks, football boots, black and green trim polo shirt with school crest*.

Black leggings or black jogging bottoms*, black shorts or black and green trim skort*, black hooded sweatshirt with school crest*, Black and green trim polo shirt with school crest*, long black socks and Football boots are required when playing for the school team.

PE Uniform

Please make sure that you purchase the PE kit in your child’s House colours.

There should be no logos or signs, except the school crest, on any part of the uniform. Please make sure that all school uniform is clearly labelled with name tapes. * Items marked with an asterisk* must be purchased from the school suppliers. All other items may be purchased at any uniform outlet. Uniform should be worn smartly at all times.

Discrete financial assistance is available for uniform items; please contact the school if required.

Jewellery:

Jewellery is not allowed except for a watch and a pair of small (no more than 4mm in diameter) metallic ear studs on the ear lobes only (one in each ear and not ear-rings). Any other visible piercings are not permitted.

Hair:

Extreme styles of hair are unacceptable. These include: unnatural colours (for example red/plum/purple tinted), two tone/dip-dye hair. Shaved lines, shaved patterns and/or distinct/sharp changes in length in the hair are also not acceptable. Any changes in length should be graduated throughout the style. No prominent hair accessories such as flowers are allowed. Small clips and bands are permitted.

Longer hair will need to be tied back for practical lessons and during exams.
